I think its a midi problem!

I have my motif and mpc1k and Motif rack es working togeather........now when i try to sequence into my mpc it seems as though i have no control over my tempo. when i hit play back or try to record something, all i get is "(EXT)" where the tempo should be.......why is this?

It looks to me like your 1K is set to external sync. Go to Mode->Pad 9 and check the sync settings.
