tempo change tip

this is one of the coolest thigns we can do, but it's slept on
changing tempo easy w/ qlink.

if you are anything like me, before you track out you convert everything into 1 sequence for easier tracking. this gives us an interesting advantage here - we can now apply a tempo change to the entire song in realtime without having to switch sequences. basically when we feel ourselves starting to get amped by the tune we speed it up. when we need to chill out, or when the song has a drop or something, slow it down.

static songs sacrifice a huge ammount of expressiveness by sticking to a solid tempo.

basically, set the percentages so you give yourself a little leeway.
