i would like to ask everybody how many samples can i control at the same time with an mpc .For example in a live how many loops can i have armed and loaded at any time to play?

Depends on a couple of things: How much RAM you have installed, How Long the Loops are, Mono or Stereo, etc.

First thanks for replying let's say i have as much ram as i can for an mpc 2000 xl and i want to play 8 bar drum loops in 90 bpm how many of them can i have loaded at the same time

The 2kxl manual tells you the max amount of samples that can reside in memory.

The max loaded in a program is 4 banks of 16 pads. 4x16=64

thank you so much you help me very much because i try to find out from people who has an mpc if i should get one for live perfomance i think the users are the best to advise me.what do you think about mpc 4000 is worth buying it?
