Best studio Speakers for $300 or around there

G4-powerbook - cubase, peak
tascam 122 interface.

Now I want some good studio speakers I have some sonys that just don't sound the same when my beat go to the studio I need something that will sound nice and crisp with some solid bass......

ALESIS 1MKII @ $200 maybe cheaper.

I got the 'Tapco' ones made by 'Mackie' & am totally in to them. Sound real good for hiphop beats-think q-tip from Tribe Called Quest & Lord Finesse use them too! Thats good enough for me! Resonable price-even in England! Check the site for more detail........

All speakers are differenet. I have a set of monitors that are good, but produce too much bass, so what I have to do is turn the bass down a little so I know it will sound good elsewhere. Once you learn how you speakers sound, you can apply this to ANY speakers out there. Some of my friends use computer monitors, old school house speakers.. I have a friend that uses big azz peavy club monitors in his basement, and their tracks knock! It's not about the speakers.

how come nobody mentions the Wharfedale 8.2 Pros. Only $339 and kicks the living hell outta the Berhinger Truths or KRK's

honestly it really dont matter what speakers you have, get a pair and learn them. you have to understand how they translate your mixes. i've got a pair of the TRUTHS, had'm for about six months and still can't figure'm out. sometimes im dead-on with my first mix and then again i might have to mix something a hundred times before its sounds good. i also got a friend who uses some cheap ass sony headphones and his mixing is ridiculous.

I don't think to many people know about them.
I jus' went down the list of mos' popular, they get great reviews.

TAPCOs are great bro. the small one's for about $360. very true sounds for the price.
