One of my artist gave me a MPC 2000xl he opened it up to clean it now none of the pads work what do i do?

Check whether all cable connectors are still properly seated.

And check if the copper has been rubbed off the contact layer that is to be found under the rubber pads.

If all fails the pad sensor sheet needs to be replaced. Its gonna run u at about 95 bucks total with shipping and handling.

It would be quite a coincidence that all pads died just after the machine got opened and 'cleaned' :wink:

My guess is still the loose connector...
