Choppin Drum Hits outta Breaks on 3000!!!

Been using my manual before any u of guys kill me!!!!
Just converted from 2000 XL, there are a number hits i need to get outta a break i got, but i can only seem to get one hit out at a time.

The way i'm working at the moment is copy and paste the same break sample and re-editing the the copy of the original sample again is this the only way on a 3000.

Can't seem to get all my hits outta the one break sample like on 2000 XL u can get all your chops out of the same sample one time if anyone can shed some light i would be most thankful, Karl......

pretty much... when you get used to it, it becomes second nature.

Cheers Kinda gonna have to get used got my 2000 XL beside me finding it hard to let it go but i dont see no use for it, someone said to me i should keep hook it up to 3000's midi and let 3000 play but do all my editing on the 2000 dont know if any one could shed some light yet again.....

Nah homie you gonna have to roll up you sleeves and crack your knuckles because everything is done by hand. Youll just have to get used to it. May I ask what made you want to get a 3000?

Reasons for getting 3000 LE are, The Sampler i thinks better than 2000 i found the 2000 a bit mettalic so to speak, also feel the timing on the 3000 is not as rigid as on the 2000.

Sometimes the 2000 feels super tight but 3000 is also tight but has that slackness to it, my friend has got a 3000 and i always said if one comes my way at good price i'm gonna buy it.

I got mine for £600 which converts to about $1100 which is good buy in this country as people often sell for at least £900 mine's 3000 LE and is in MINT CONDITION not a scratch on it got it from a guy who bought it when they came out and used for a year then went to live in South America for the last ten years and its been in the box ever since.

I'm very happy with it also been using the 2000 for a little while but cant let it go, LOL still used to all editing features (God if they were in the 3000 it would be all over) anyway those are my reasons is there anyone else who uses a 2000 & 3000 if so how do u use them?

Do you use them as seperate entitys or have them strung up together would really like to how peeps are using them, Stay Cool, Karl....

Thats a good enough reason. 1100 ain't a bad price considering what 3000's usually go for you actually are in a pretty good position. You can painstakingly let go of the 2000xl if you feel you can handle the 3000's limitations or you can sell the 3000 for more than you paid and get an s-3000 or something if you can't let go of the xl's creature comforts. good luck.

Da 2000XL is GONE, Sleeves are up not lazy LOL Ready for the war.

On a serious note its just so much more fluent to use than 2000..

be happy you got a 3000 with lotsa ram to make as many sound copies as you like ... you could have a 60 which makes its even harder

solution is a good sound card and mpc editor maybe

Kersey I'm very happy trust me got MPCPGMMAKER on my Mac, also got Metric Halo 2882 Soundcard so i'm alright in those departments, LOL...
