idea!!!!

i got an idea.... JJ should make a button in the mapping page to make it cromatic so we dont gotta use dang bluebox anymore... i mean its cool but i never even touch my computer anymore.... and r we still allowed to share sample programs we make here? and that pong joke was freakin cruel!!!!!!

I have another idea.

Who, in the trim page, is tired of holding down the pad to play the whole sample? We should have it toggle to play the entire shot with one press or something.

unless i'm missing something. What do you think?

no imeant a cromatic map of the pads not a sample, like in bluebox when you hit make cromatic. the midi mapping is coppied from the mpc60 to a gm drum setup but it would be cool if in that page where it shows the mapping you could hit make it cromatic button. a workaround someone came up with was a blank cromatic program you can load the put samples in but this would be better. im not talking about autocramitize one sample.

jj already did that: goto pad11-mode, highlite the note-column and press window. now you can choose default and "straight" note-mapping.

Put a Paypal button on the MPC and have the MPC plug into a USB Modem to pay for the OS. There's an idea...

I think that one of the top rows of pads (13-16) does this ... can't remember which one, so check your manual. If you look those pads are labelled 'from' 'to' 'all' to indicate what parts of the sample they play with respect to the start point.

The top 4 pads will play loop, play to the end of the sample and play from the endpoint onwards as well as play all (which plays the entire sample disregarding the trim points. However, for each of these to work you have to hold down the entire pad. My finger gets tired!!
