Am I better of just reading the manuel?

Hey, Ive been debating weather i should get the "Beat making on the MPC 1000". I just bought one like 3 days ago. Should i just read the manuel and save myself 40 bucks? I also plan to have all 250 pgs printed out because I learn better with reading a book type. so I dunno, can someone tell me if its good to get it? Thanks. Any feedback is great feedback

Up to you man. Some folks hardly even need the manual while others couldn't find thier own dcik without written directions......I guess I fall somewhere in the middle. I read everything about the gear I own eventually but usually I dive right in and use the guide as a reference if I get stuck....

right on i guess ima just start messing wit it and look at the manuel for reference
