Audio Problems

I am a first time user of the MPC2000XL, and I am experiencing problems with audio. I have the headphones plugged in but I am not receiving any feedback through the headphones. Do I need additional connection devices or something? Also can you tell me what I need in order to connect the machine to my stereo and computer?

do u have anything loaded into the mpc 2000xl........I ask because the first time I tried it myself I did not know I had to load the sounds........Welcome to the family at the forum

There are already files loaded on the machine, but I have absolutely no kind of sound coming from the headphone. There is no static or anything coming out. It is almost as if the headphones are not plugged in. Has this ever happened to anyone? Do you know what the problem could be?

Try to hook some speakers up wit it...i guess u can run it through ur receiver..if that dont work and u got sounds loaded up suttin is really wrong

It works through my stereo, My headphone jack is not working, good looking out thanks for the help.
