imho do not be scared.

you can always switch back if you don't like it.

I agree, I had more problems/bugs (and less functions) with 2.1 than I have now with 3.05. Only thing is, I use the new folder bug workaround cause I had some freezes without.

Yes other than the "New Folder" bug which has been a problem since before the OS there hasnt been a hiccup (hey even great programers never work out all the bugs, and this may be a problem with the hardware and not the OS as it has been a problem since the early 1k OSes).
I havent found any other workflow crushing or hardware freezing bugs/problems in the last two weeks of use. The os 2.1 **** up my sequences within the first 2 hours when it first came out (moving notes to erroneous locations and such).

I've noticed the volume control knob doesn't work anymore. It seems to happen on and off.

I'm not sure if you can adjust the brightness of the screen anymore either.

i disagree with both of the previous, my volume works fine and my screen contrast is done w/ stop/data wheel.

Thanks on the contrast tip.

I guess my volume knob problems might be my mpc.

Re: Volume knob

Are you using the digital out? The volume control knob doesn't do anything to the digital out

I have the digital out going into my soundcard, so if I'm monitoring through that, I have to use the soundcard mixer to change the volume.

sometime when you enable Input thru......No sound coems out after........
