instead of slaving protools to the mp, i made protools the master, the mpc now responds. so i didnt really figure out what the problem was, but for what i wana do with pro tools, which is basically just mixing down, i can settle for this. i have been told that, apparently, having the com as the master is betr off anyways. any thoughts??

^^are you recording your mpc tracks into protools? cause im attempting to do that and ive got PT as my master and when i hit records it enables the mpc so i can hear it coming out PT but i cant seem to get a signal into my PT traks to record. i have a feeling it has somethin to do with the way i have my tracks routed but i cant figure it out for shit.....any thoughts
