For some apparent reason i can't seem to clear my internal memory of samples that came along with my mpc. Im new to this and read my manual like its the lost scrolls but to no avail, if anybody can help me it would be greatly appreciated

There is no "delete" function for the internal flash, so you essentially have to save blank (or almost blank, I don't believe completely empty files worked for me) All Program and Sample and All Sequence and Song files over the existing ones.

To do this, load up your empty (or nearly empty) programs and delete all seqs. Go to the save menu and wheel the To: or Location: parameter (I forget what it's called, I'm in class) from "CF Card" or whatever to "Internal Memory". Then you can choose to save either of the two options mentioned previously.

Good luck!

Ya know, a couple weeks ago I had some **** up shit happen.

I formatted my CF card, then rebooted the machine. When I did that it loaded up 12 sample songs w/ full sequences and shit! THE CARD WAS EMPTY THOUGH! They were factory presets.

I forgot how i got rid of them, but I did.... tripped me out for a second. I was completely sober. Shit made me wonder what the hell i was drinking though.
