Most often seen albums when digging in thrift shops, etc.

What's the most common album or artist you come across when digging in thrift stores, etc. I was recently back home to Tampa for like a week and I hit all the thrift shops to do some digging. I swear to God I came across every album ever produced by Herb Albert & the Tijuana Brass. I went to like 5 different thrift shops and every single one had an album by my man Herb. I ended up picking up the one with the Method Man "Release Your Delf" sample on it. It's just freaky how many copies there were...

What other artists/records do you come across everywhere?

Off the top of my head - Ray Coniff, Bread, Slim Whitman, the Exodus soundtrack, Guy Lombardo, Enoch Light, Tennessee Ernie Ford, and of course Frampton Comes Alive!

oh and Christmas albums, polka, aerobics records, records of high school or church choirs - like Jefferson High School Choir '84 or something like that.

Herb Alpert's "Whipped Cream" is in every thrift store I go to.
Alot of the 101 strings, and a ton of Christmas records.

The Madonna "True Blue" album must have been huge in Japan. I saw like 5 copies digging here last weekend. Madonna is the Herb Albert of the far east.
