New OS for the classic version?

Mayne I put it like this...they should jus charge the ****** to get the new os...thats the workaround! I payed good money for my 2000 classic and I would like to get better functions outta it! I have no prob. for it...

So are we gonna have a poll or what???

I've had my 2000 classic for along time, no way in h*ll would I trade it or upgrade to a xl....I agree we need a new os.

It's not gonna happen. You think your box is too limited? Get another box. You knew what you were in for when you bought your mpc.

So you want a 2000 with the functions of the XL? I'd like to pay $800 for a 500 and then get the functions of a 4000, myself.

I think it could happen..... nobody believed anyone would make a new os for the 3000... and they (not akai) did...

It would be nice, but it doesnt really bother me to be honest. I get by with the features on the classic just fine. If i wanted all the fancy shit i would buy a 2500.

If they changed the way mute groups work on the 2k/xl to the way they work on the 1000/2500 it would be enough for me.

I CAN MAKE AN OS FOR THE 2000 CLASSIC , BUT I WOULD NEED TO TALK TO JJ HIMSELF TO DISCUSS A FEW THINGS LIKE SOURE CODES AND STUFF LIEK THAT IF ANYONE HAS HIS CONTACT GET AT ME.

jj doesnt have the source codes either

I just got my first mpc 2000 classic. after using the roland theres no comparison, but id really like a new OS. the zoning feature would be amazin; and id be willing to pay.

soo funny, but the thing is, some of us saved money quite a long time to get the 2k classic (and there was no other choise since they couldnt wait 5more years to get an xl)...maybe for u it's easy to say, but for some ppl there is no workaround
