MPC 1k...getting SEQ to pc

i finally got my pc back up and running and am transferring samples and all that.getting the swing of things. problem is im in a beat battle and i want to export my song/seq tp my pc. im wating on my audio interface to ship. is there any other way to get seq or songs to the pc???

im wondering this same question... what is the easiest/cheapest way to get ur music off of the mpc????

If u have the expanded memory(128mb) then u can just RESAMPLE the main outs. Once u do that then your beat will become an .wav file that u can transfer over via USB or your CF Card.

Before you ask how is done at least refer to your manual or go into the sampling screen and change it to MAIN(or whatever its called).

so will the 512MB CF ... be a good choice for my 1k?
and if i get it will it let me transfer seq/songs usb?

The CF and the MPC 128 Mb memory expansion are quite different.

The CF is for storing your sequences, samples, programs, etc. when you power-off the MPC.

The memory expansion allows you to load more samples etc. while the MPC is switched on.

When you have the CF, you can transfer things to it over USB. However, remeber that AKAI sequence and song files will only playback on the MPC.

damn.. now im real lost..

so what do i need in order to have more room for samples..and so it wont say insufficient memory when i try to chop or use other features?
and to be able to get my songs off my mpc?

you need to post in "Getting started" and read what's been posted hundreds of times on these forums. literally, hundreds of times.

people dont take kindly to a complete lack of motivation to learn here
