Eastwest Real Drums and MPC 2000XL

I recently purchased this sampple CD from Eastwest and neither the WAV files or the AKAI files will load into the machine. I get a wrong format message or when it looks like a sound is loaded and I try to audition it there is no sound. I'm kind of new to this. Has anyone ever tried and sample CD's from WEast west with the MPC? Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

elaborate..., are you usign a scsi cd rom with the mpc, or a computer.

I'm using a SCSI drive conected to the MPC. The files show in the "ALL FILE" extension with the individual samples but nothing loads and I'm unable to hear anything when I audition the sounds.
