i cant get my midi oxgen 8 keyboard to work on cubase pls...

help me i think i have everything set for my shittttt audio/midi interface so i can hear my mpc on cubase but when i go to cubase drum machine and click with the mouse i can hear the sound but when i hit my keyborad (oxgen i dont hear anything but i can see a orange bar go up and down so i think i aint set the keyboard with the cubase right!!!!!!!!!! pls help
