assignable mix outs?

can u not route whole programs throu the outputs of 2500 (drums on 1/2, sample 3/4 bass 5/6)? or just single pads?

You can link as many pads as you wish to the individual outs.

I believe the mixer settings are saved per program. You have to assign each pad though. rtfm

The question is, can you select many or all of the pads in the mixer screen? Or maybe I should rtfm.

Well, I'm no akai spokesman or anything, but it's really not that big of a deal. Just assign the pads used in the same track to the same individual out. It takes me about 20 seconds to assign the 16 sounds in a padbank to their respective individual out, just organize your shyt and you wont even think about it after a while. I think you can assign the whole mixer at the same time, but I allways have hats, kicks and snares in the same bank, so I've never felt any need to do so.
Assigning a whole track at once would be a nice feature tho.

If you press shift and a pad bank (for example . Shift + bank A)
you select all 16 pads so you can adjust settings on the entire bank at once.
Or even if you just wanna select like 4 or 5 pads , just hold shift and press the pads to select them.

Makes life so mutch easier

Thanks for that man. I didn't feel like pulling the manual out for this little thing. Although I do have it on this little folder here on my right. I tried shift before but I didn't hit any other pad or bank.

But, they can't be... because you can have the same Program assigned to different outputs on a sequence-by-sequence basis, so this information has to be stored in the .ALL file, no?
