Is it possible for Midi In to be sent to Midi A and B?

im sitting here listening to a sequence...
track 1 - MPC drums
track 2 - Midi 1A: external synth from virus
track 3 - Midi 1B: external bass from moog
track 4 - Midi 16A: external pad from virus

the moog is the controller...

Digital Performer> MPC In 1
Moog > MPC IN 2
MPC Out A > Virus
MPC Out B> Moog

When listening back to the above sequence I try playing while on track 4 - THE VIRUS MIDI 16A, but the Moog on Midi 1B is being sent the same notes im playing on Midi 16A...

How is this possible and how can I fix it?

My Midi info is:
Active track receive channel: ALL
Soft Thru: As Track

Does the moog have the local off option. This turns off the keyboard sending midi to internal sounds of the moog. Check your moog manual. What moog do you have? If not I suggest using the virus for the keyboard, that is unless you don't have the virus keys.

Basically what is happening is that the moog is triggering the internal sounds of the moog while sending midi notes through the mpc to the virus through 16A.

Yeah, that's the weird part... The Moog is set to "Local Off" and for some reason this seems to be random... i went to show my friend and everything worked fine... but sometimes, when i hit th ekeys during a recording, the moog would send itself a random note from my performance... it's so strange im stumped...

no keys BUT
when i had my novation hooked up to it before as the controller for the virus my flow was like this...

mpc records novation controller which triggers virus and can also record moog OR i record moog performance which triggers moog...

this worked fine but i wanted to simplify my set up...lol... guess not - midi riddle

possibly moog... i was just listening to the same old pattern looped for ever when all of a sudden the moog just went up like 2 octaves... i checked the midi notes in step edit and they were the saqme, once i changed the patch on the moog and brought it back the octaves came back down to normal... weird
