i love this damn lil machine, if you are complaining about this revolutionary machine, you prolly dont sample records....Its for the mobile beat digger in mind....For the real cats...But if you do.....im sorry for you....

I really can't say much about the 500, I've only messed with it a Guitar Center for half an hour.... at first glace the 500 looks like a "toy" then you look at the price and you realize it's not. $800 is a steep price especially when I got my 2k with 8 outs, 32MB, zip and CD scsi drives and monitors for $900. I can see the purpose but I can't make a beat on the train... rush hours all crazy i wouldn't be in the mood to create music... but hey if people pay 200 to play video games during commute why not make beats.
It's obvious for portabilty not for your workspace.

Yoshi you quoted the wrong guy I never said that. :) The 500 is a studio worthy piece, I can agree with you there. It all depends on what your needs are.
