So, I was trying to delete a sample from my internal HD. I couldn't figure it out. Looked through the manual and didn't see it. Searched here and didn't see it. Perhaps I just missed it but can anybody enlighten me?

Go to "Save"
Then go to the "To" field
Select "Window"

All features regarding HD are there ie Rename and Delete.

:D

So far the only way ive been able to figure out how to erase from the harddrive on flach card is to connect 2500 to the computer, then choose the drive you with the my computer page the same way you would delete something from your pc's hard drive,as far as i know that,s the one and only way

Thanks for keeping it tame. Or is it because it's not found in the manual that it stayed so tame??? Either way, ShaneFontane, I thank you.

Akai just assumed that people understood disk functions.
They clearly tell you on page 110 how to delete a file from a storage device.
Their mistake is that the entire save load section speaks about the memory card because they thought people would understand that all the Save and Load functions are the same you just pick a device.
Has always been that way on the MPC's.
