Can someone suggest some good sample cd's for the 4000? I'm looking for synth,and orchestra sounds.

took you to a site full of AKAI's own free samples, and probably all of them work/worked fine on the MPC4000. As far as I can tell, the MPC4000's distribution CD ROM piano is the one I found there back then. For some reason, AKAI took that site down - not sure exactly when but it's no longer there. Anyone manage to create a backup before it disappeared? It was plenty big, like a few GB. It was full of beats but also a lot of great acoustic material, and it was all free! Where is it?!
