what you guys think mpc 3000 or mpc 2500

whats up

well im a asr 10 user but im been mpc lover for a long time but never had the money to get one .but now i save up so im willing to get the 3000 or the 2500 what you guys think about it

2500, but then again i take that back your an asr user, so you might have the tolerance of the 3000

3000 sound bad ass i try the 2500 there's something about that doesn't sound right not it's just me

never used the 3000 but simply based on hardware specs and software i urge you to get the 2500...

If your concerned with features, get the 2500.

if your more concerned with sound, get the 3000.

well actually, truth is that both can get you pretty stellar results..

2500 its a beast and it sounds great.

I'm a ASR-10 user myself, but I would go the 2500 route. You'll have the best of both worlds...old school/new school.

yea good combo

don't believe the hype on the 2500. It's a repackaged 1000 with chintzy sound and build quality. Go for quality over quantity. Use your PC if you really need timestretch/ auto chopping (lame)

Im running both right now.

I love the 2500 for it's easy to use interface but you need to step your game up with the low end when mixing.

The 3000 Wins everytime for quality.............but then again coz of the speed you can create on a 2500 you can do some amazing stuff with the 2500 that u wouldn't on the 3000.

hahahh how the hell does this apply when you're buying 1 machine either way...some of you act like if you use a later model mpc your entire sound is going to be ruined.

if you rely THAT MUCH on the sound of older models to make your music worth listening to, then damn, i don't know what to say other than "i'm sorry."

I've never owned a 3000; and owning a 2500... the workflow on this thing is crazy. And just the fact that it's a newer machine, there's so many other things that Akai improved on from previous models that make beat making on the 2500 so much easier.

actually there are some damn good os features on the 3000/60 os that they for some lazy/damn foolish reason never implemented into later mpcs...while i agree that newer models have other features that > what i was just talking about, i wish some of those old 3000 features that i've read about in these forums would get put into the new.
