how long do you leave your mpc

i have left it on over 24 hours in the past. 1 time it was playing a sequence and the other time it was just on doing nothing. (passed out on both occasions)

nothing happened to the mpc :)

Ive heard of cats leaving it on for weeks, but my record is maybe 3 days. Ive definitely fallen asleep with sequences playing and woke up rockin out to my beat mad times haha. im on a classic 2k.

This has been talked about a bunch of times but the answers vary. Leaving it on like dat could led to your screen goin bad. But if u gonna be gone for like a few minutes then just leave it on. No need to keep powering up and down when u arent gone that long. My two cents.

I left for vacation once, and came back a 3 weeks later and it was still on. :twisted: And while I was gone, my dog made a beat on it. It was hott. :lol:

I have been in a bad habit lately, leaving it on for like 2-3 weeks, too lazy to make space on zips (had some zip probs). But im turning a leaf - guilt has been getting the better of me

I never leave my mpc on for a long time,it's on only when I'm working with some stuff.I do it to prevent screen from going blured or sth like that.
