I have not used one, but if I can export my stuff from there to my MPC, I would love it. The only thing it needs is a rechargable laptop battery. I spend a about 10-20 hours a week on a plave and would love to make noise while I was doing it.

I would keep that kind of talk out of this forum... This isn't the place to share all that about you

The trains are too crowded in NYC for beatmaking...even on the nice trains. Maybe the LIRR or something though.

It will depend on if the man likes your beats. Just make shit in the train and convince him mpc500 is **** useless

I don't understand this chit. It has all of the basic MPC functionality.
You can load samples into it via a modern storage media (CF).
It has 4 sample layer velocity switching.
The pads are velocity sensitive (although the stock pads are despicable without inserts underneath or FP's)
12 level mode.
Note repeat.
Q-link functions.
Stereo and mono.
WAV file support.
On-board effects
BATTERY POWERED
USB Support
It even has 128 mb ram....
Have you ever played with an antique sampler? Are those no longer "Pro."
If you can't freak it with these capabilities, then I don't know what to tell you. I'd be surprised if you can operate a speak and spell..
