MPC 1000 Panel Colors

My girlfriend is picking up my MPC 1000 in london and I was wondering how I should color the panels.. these 4 are the finalists to choose from..
just wanted a little help / opinions



have any of you guys/girls done it? if so, did you just use spray paint? or did also you put some coat over it? Is it possible to take the small front off the card reader as well?

of course by now i've sanded the corners off all the buttons so they look rough and polygonal, then i painted em jet black. the gain knobs i sanded all the texture off and drew spirals on em, and the data wheel i sanded flat and gave a cool design to.

its all about black body and red sides (photoshop it if u get a min)

nym i only just noticed you drew arrows on the gain and data wheel lol, it looks dope but the closer i look the more dodgy bits i see

sorry, hageir. i don't think any of the colors you're choosing from look nice. maybe you should change the face plate entirely.

I just want anything else than the red panels..

I think I'll go with the dark grey ones or the off white / white, same as the volume knobs..

that's sanded off actually, but it did look pretty cool while it was there.

"dodgy" is the key word here, there's so much rust on the mpc right now. i'll show you guys when i get access to a digital camera - it really looks awesome. exactly what i was going for, little bits of a mellow red showing through the silver here and there. it looks well used and well loved...while still lookin deadly. looks like some viking's battle ax after terrorizing a peaceful monastary.

exactly.. I think I'm gonna try to color the card reader front too.. I've seen it done somewhere..

I also know, he was my first MPC 1000 seller and sent me some pics.. you should try to get better ones..

take the picture
resize if possible
upload to www.imageshack.us
copy the direct link to the picture
paste it here..

just helping out
