yeah I checked out your post...and some of it I dont agree with........... I would put forth the extra doe so I dont have to glue my mpc together like my heman toy arm when I Was a child......... aswell I grew up on Pete Rock and think he is one of the best........but what I enjoyed about hip hop is opening that record and hearing that new diffrent shit..thats what pete rock brought to the table....most people these days are caught up in the so called "boom bap era" and never really move on ... my music is influenced by artists in that era yes ....but I would never wanna say I wanna make somthing that sounds like 1996 because ITS 2006 wake up TIME!

A. ... No I m not jellious ...Because if u didnt notice.....THEIR IS A STICKY in the 1000 forum which SHOWS you how to fixs your MPC1000 with glue.....!!!!!!!!! i dont see that on the 2500 forum u know why...BECASUE I DONT HAVE A PLASTIC pieces inside or neer my pads!... also the pads are individual not one big sheet of pads like the 2500....now ....if you have to use glue on one machien.......but not on the other THATS A CLEAR INDICATION THAT ITS NOT THE SAME MACHIEN YOU BIG DUMMY!

In fact ............ I like the 1000 for road trips I v used it the os is great BUT!...................why the **** are the pads so cheep......and why does everyone who got the os think that THEY HAVE A 2500.......KEEP DREAMING HOMIE ....caz when your fixing your broken pads...I LL BE MAKING BEATS.......

Y I am I going off about the pads.......well let me put it this way....I bought my mpc NOT because of Pete Rock .... But Because I felt it had a stable sequence aswell as SOLID PADS.... and unfortanatly the mpc1000 dosent have one of the Two things I just mentioned.....GOOD PADS

yeah the os is great.....on the 1000 but....YOU CANT PUT A BMW symbol on a Volvo and say..... we practicaly have the same car....CAZ YOU DONT

aswell I m aware jj is working on an os for the 2500 ....so when I get this update does that mean we will still have the same machien....... believe me man if I want from my 2000 to a dinky little 1000 I d probably cry.....................

aswell I make plenty of beats no worrys on that home slice G

no problem.im glad you were able to vent.i had the 4000 for a while and i find myself liking thie 1000 better, but thats me.when i had the 4000 i couldnt even preview a sample off the harddrive.thats akai for you though.whoever writes their operating systems has no clue.

never owed a 4000 never had a sampler with a hard drive this is a luxury to even have a hard drive ....It would be nice to pop one in the 2500....but thats not anywhere the reason for my choice .............but cant wait for that simult shit ....camman jj lets see what u can do for my 2500.. damright i m willing to pay for the upgrade......I v been in full support of a 3rd party os this whole time ...its just when I see people bragging like their os changed the physical aspacts of their machein I gotta say somthing... no hate I plan to buy a 1000 aswell ....but having the 2500 in the studio I see the 1000 being used for diffrent things ...like taking it over to a friends to sample his collection of vynal ...maybe do some sequencing at my cottage.... but sometimes in live situations aswell as just jamming out live drums I tend to hit other pads with the 1000 trigging unwanted notes....because for years I v been using a 2000 to do my live thang thang....so I am use to the space.....aswell....I was in a car accedent when I was 16 and I had fractured my spine in a really bad car accedent ...leaving me with pins and rods in my back....so the big dirty flip up screen on my 2500 is a big + for me ...this way I can be comfortable in my chair ...not hunched over like I was for years...I could have got a stand yea yea I know............so yea I m rambling but ...its all in what the user is looking for.... so....with that being said...if you are intrested in buyin an mpc in the future ...go to the store rent it ...try it out try diffrent os's shhh dont say that to the people you are renting it off of....and return it with the os that they had on it not jj's beta....and really see what is your best option ..money wise and what suits your needs.... right now I say the jj's os kills the 2500 os and thats just me testing that beta one jj had up.......but the hardware is just not the same ADMIT IT hahhaha

its all love

P.S

GET HIGH AS A ****
