This is ridiculous. Savillion, why are you even posting in this forum if you don't like the 1000? Second, my first sampler was a Roland s-50 midi'd to an Ensoniq SQ2 (actually my first sampler was a casio sk-1 that had like 1.2 seconds of sample time... I'd put my tape deck on hi speed dub and jack little loops... 8 year old style), then I moved up to a Roland W-30, Akai s-900, and a Tascam portastudio 424mk2... I've made albums using the MTV music generator on a PS1 (thats playstation 1), I've rocked an SP-12 with 10 seconds of sampling time, I've done pause tapes before I had any of that. The point is this... if you make dope beats, it doesn't matter what you're using. If the pads on the 1000 are so terrible, why are so many people putting up new posts about using their 1000? Wouldn't they have all been returned or traded in for a down payment on a 2500? I'm not here to start beef at all because that's counter-productive, but your semi-hating isn't helping anyone with anything. So now that we know you don't like the 1000's pads, can we please move on and not speak of this again????

And again, I'm not here for beef or to disrespect, so put the surface to air missles away, okay?

ah that's more like it, that rock band had waay too much reverb...damn.

done it again is fun man i like everything but the way the drums come in. excellent synth programming, nice work.

when i said "listen to that improved hardware" i was making a point that when it comes down to it, the argument of hardware ends at the final audible result. the "toy" argument...well, i can only just shrug my shoulders, because i see no toy in the 1000.

if somebody somehow built an os for sony's "my first sony" tape player that was better than jj's os (bear with me), then i'd switch to the sony.

typing record. "curve your fingers and rest their tips lightly on the home keys, as follows."

but if that's the kind of joke you want to bring to the table....again i can only shrug

AHHAHAH sall good mane actually I enjoyed that tune....good stuff grabbing it from a typing record instead of using the robotic ones everyone else uses.....keep digging .... I use to digg lots lots till I found my self up in my moms basement at 5 in the morning listing to daffy duck or roy orbison.......I just went loony.......... I agree its not what u use....I m just saying I dont feel like I wasted a penny with what I purchaced as some of you my think

for a sec their nym I thought you had a rock solid head like our friend jahrome......but u know what .. you have one up on him....you are for simult in these new jj os's ..that puts you on my good side!

i don't think you wasted money. i think akai is holding out on you, and that irritates me because if i had bought a 2500 instead of a 1000, i'd be cursing my luck before i knew they were coding for it too because the 1000 suites me far better and was the first machine for the jj to work on.

. and when the jj os is dropped for the 2500, everything will be fine and dandy for everyone. it looks like it might be up tonight, too.
