mpc tripping

I was making a beat when all of a sudden I lost control, its like it had a mind of its on. It wouldnt respond to any of my commands even after i rebooted anybody else encountered this? how did you fix the problem?

Maybe the electromagneric field around it was too strong , I don't see any other explanation for that.

Ok thanks I called AMS and AKAI neither have heard of this so as a result i am getting a new one. in the meanwhile I will move it around to see if that helps.

From time to time just the craziest stuff - like if I had about 10-20 seq loaded up it would switch through all my seq's a light speed randomly - or numbers and letters would go bizerk - It happened so rarely I never tripped but it was weird

My 1000 seems pretty tight though - Every once in a while I accidentaly hit the note repeat button a couple times before I hit a pad and the tempo adjust accordingly, but I haven't figured that out yet right so I sit there and go - "damn my sh** trippin' I was at like 136 now I'm at 64.23" - but that's me though
