first note delay with reason3.0 track

Im using reasons as a sound module and my first note is delayed with the drums in my mpc. Why is this? Im trying to mess with the latency compensatin in reason but its just getting my reason trak more off of beat than it already is. All of the notes on the reason track seem to be on time. Its just my first note that is delayed a little.

add a bar to the front/starting point of your SEQ on the mpc this should give you computer enough time to react to whats about to be recorded
