MPCeditor PCI audio interfaces HELP PLEASE

I want to by the MPCeditor, but I got some questions that I need to ask you.
what kind of interface should I use to connect my PC to my MPC, I'm looking for something that allow me to connect my pc to my mpc, but also connect my speakers and my (mixer) turntable, so I can take sounds from vynils, edit them with recycle then send it to the MPCeditor then to the MPC. I don't know much about PCI cards, but I was looking at M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and it seemed to serve the purpose. Can you please give some sugestions?

if youre using zips on your mpc thenI suggest you buy another zip drive for your computer. Unless you have the mpc1000,4000 then Thats the only way.

you dont really need to connect your mpc to pc to purchase the mpc editor. What you need is some way to transfer your sound from pc to mpc and vice versa. Unless you wanna use your pc as a multiracker then no u dont need. But on the other note, yes audiphile 2496 is good but if you need more ins and out that soundcard wont do But it is a good semi pro soundcard. It is not a balanced, also check the echo mia soundcards. It doesnt have midi interface though

The MPC & The PC can not 'talk' directly so there isn't really an interface for you to use...Recycle & the MP' cant communicate like other samplers (Hence the Import/export function on the editor)

Either go the zip disk/drive way or route or audition sample into the MPC
As for the soundcard you mentioned, thats an ok card to use (for certain tasks etc) but what is it u intend to do on the whole

If you already have an external scsi zip drive then this may be a solution if you want to have the convience of transfering your waves/snd. files from the PC to the MPC via zip disk. It's only $25 and cool as hell if you don't want to go out and get another zip drive. Plus it doesn't matter what size zip drive you're using. http://web.tampabay.rr.com/dwilson3/adapters.html

How do I connect that to the MPC?, what type of cable do I need?

Actually you would install that into your PC and you would plug the cable you already have for your zip drive into the external scsi card on your PC. From there you would be able to save and load data to and from your zip drive. Again I am assuming that you already have an external zip drive. Installation is a breeze. Just make sure you have access to the cd rom that came with your zip drive or else you will have to download it from their site. Again it's a real easy installation process.
