SIgN the PeTITION ?

I will submit it as a request either way to JJ..
but i would just like to see what you peoples thought.

instead of 4 direct record tracks.
how about 8.
or better yet a switch for any track to become direct record 8) that would be cool. 8)

I bet its possible to use all tracks for direct record. since its all the same on the inside. :D

nah i definitely know it is/would be awesome if i worked with it more. i'm in the process of getting tons of hand percussion. the issue is that i use all my mic ins on my mackie 120 vlz for my mpc assigneable outs, so i can't use the mackie preamps..and i lost the power adapter for my mp0pl preamp. just gotta get myself a new adapter at radioshack.

i sent the request to jj...
within 2 hours i got the response in a email..

which is the reason ive saved all the os' so far haha
i am about to bring my mpc to bed and play till i fall asleep lol

how do you send JJ a request like that? did you enter it into the bug fixes, or is there a different email or something for suggestions?

Are you talking about direct record tracks or continuous sample tracks? More continuous sample tracks will make the MPC more like a multi-track recorder.

.. can you define a continuous sample track ..

in my opinion they are the same thing.
it gives you the option "change into recorded bars" if your sample is longer than the sequence loop.

..i directly record continuous samples.. so im unclear what you mean.. sorry

Sorry fam....direct recording and continuous sample track are not the same thing. You can direct record into any track....as many as you like. But you only have one continuous sample track...but I am talking about the Akai OS. If JJ has done something different, than that's another story
