6 pad grid edit - why not 8?

why 6 pads? wouldn't 8 be more convenient? i think this should be addressed

personally, i have no need for the pad squares to be larger than those in 16 pad grid edit. if we're sacrificing control for visuals, no way - not worth it. i'd definitely rather see 8 regular sized pads than 6 larger ones...

anyone else agree?

yip i agree 100% also maybe we should do a nice photoshop layout of grid for JJ to show what we would like ( there is alot of wasted space on GRID ) as well as tack mute, i would like to see the ability to use note repeat as track repeats for fast on/off,s also with mute one shot in stead of having to push on the push again for off, , so NOTE REPEAT also neeeds work for instance F1 can rather act as a on/off for all mute, so if you push it again it unmutes instead of using F2 for this , this way he can incorporate more featurs for F2 -F5, sorry a little of topic, but yes 8 PADs for GRID

How about we could choice from 1 pad to 16 pad view. So everyone can have the view he or she personally likes best. If that could be implemented evrybody will be happy!!

yeah i'm pretty determined that this needs to be done. 8 pad and 16 pad, maybe someday a 32 pad. i don't need large squares, i got eagle eyes son...or at least really good glasses, anyway.
