How do I upgrade my OS? I've looked on the forum...

I tried searching the forum, 20 minutes later, still found nothing. I'm sure it's here but I can't find it.

I have the upgrade bin files for the 2 upgrades past the ones that comes with the 1000 (up to 3.0), but I don't know how to install them. Can somebody please help me out with a step by step of what I have to do to install them on the MP. I know I have to go up one at a time, but I'm not sure where exactly to put it. I appreciate any advice.

Yo, that link is in Japanese homie. I appreciate the info, cuz I can kinda follow based on the screens, but the problem is I don't know where to start. I looked through all the menus on my MP and I can figure out where to go to begin the loading. I've never seen those screens in the pics before and I have these bin files that I don't know what to do with. Gimme a clue on what the first steps are and I'll be able to get it from there.

go to the Akai homepage, check out the support section where you'll see the download area for Akai's OS v2.1. Right above (or below, can't remember) the OS download link is the link to some instructions on how to upgrade the OS.

I got it! Thanks again, now my MPC is on par with the 2500 and I didn't have to spend a bunch of money! (except I don't have 8 outs) Is there a way to get 8 outs somehow? I gotta post a new thread!
