Is it possible to get 8 outputs on the 1000???

meh , for me personally , 6 outs is enough, I RARELy go over that
I use outboard gear, and mods
like my triton,mikrokorg, or reason
so I'm good with my outs :)

6 outs is fine. But having the additional outs come in handy when you want to mix externally, which is much better than doing things on board any MPC. Which is why every MPC until recently, had 10 outputs.

Yeah...but none of you are the Beatles....and believe it or not, there are musicians and song writers today that are way more talented...that use more than 4 tracks.

George Martin is a genius and so are The Beatles and there has yet to be a band more talented and influential than The Beatles. They were the first kats to reverse samples and do crazy things-things that people nowadays take for granted. Listen to "Revolver" greatest album of all time. Period.

To each his own I guess...I would much rather listen to the Jackson 5....who influenced every boy band in one way or another in the past 30 plus years...Thriller is the greatest album period. Not some collection of Eagles songs....

Huh... Eagles songs? What u talkin about? Revolver was a Beatles album man. I feel you though, everyone has their own taste, but let's not forget that Michael Jackson bought the rights to most of the Beatles work. :lol:

I know that...but when talking about the greatest albums of all time...those two need to be mentioned. The Eagles greatest hits album surpassed Thriller as the biggest selling album in history. But Michael is Michael. His influence can't be measured.

thiller is sick ! i got that on vinyl , its hella ill ..... they sampled the song "it aint hard to tell" from nas on that ... its a great album ! :D

I wonder what happend to my old Thriller album... :?

Anyway, I came across a Japanese 7 inch of Beat It yesterday. Kind of wish I had bought it...If it was Billie Jean, I definitely would have bought it.
