is the flash rom from the s2000/s3000xl (FMX008)sampler the same as the one for the 2000xl(FMX008M)? If not what is the difference?

I had the FMX008M taken from a S3000 and put it in my MPC 2000 with no problem. I can't speak on the XL--but it did work in my 2K---they are rare now.

i think there the same, except one is manufactured by a 3rd party company called Mutek..
