Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

how can i make my mpc2000xl recall specific snds from a module...
.
.
my friend has cubase 1.0, roland xp-50, and a mophatt...
cubase is the master... the mophatt has tracks 1-11...while the roland has tracks 12-16

^that might seem irrevelavant... but everything works fine with his setup... and selecting a sound is easy...and recallable... simply by entering the program/bank info into cubase.... that way when cubase turns on... everything is set.....
.
.
.
here's the problem.... we want cubase totally out of the picture... we want everything to be sequenced to my mpc2000xl....

as far as the mpc recalling saved sounds based on the midi tracks available... how do i enter the program info of that sound into the mpc2000xl....??...so that i don't have to spend time looking for every sound when turning the mpc on....

Set each of them to "Multi-Midi (Timbral)"

Then save your sequences on the MPC, save the .ALL file and .APS, reload them and set the modules to the multi-setups and the sounds will play. You may not have to do that to the modules, on one of my boards I didn't have to set anything.
