Hi.
I have mpc 2000xl and today i installed 8 output card(put it inside and connect to motherboard).
I want to use digital input to record my bass line from Korg MicroX.
I dont know how to use it, also i dont know how to use 8 outputs.
Can anyone explain me how it works?
I tried to find somethink about it and nothink.
Thanks - Simon

take a look at chapter 8 pages 128-135 in the manual for learning how to use the 8 outputs...

and chapter 6 page 89-91 for learning how to use the digital input

good luck!

There is no simultaneous sample/play. What you can do is midi the keyboard to the mpc. Then you can record your midi performance from the keyboard into the mpc while the mpc is playing your beat you made on the mpc. Lots and lots of people do it that way.

For the digital in to work, you need a digital source 48khz. The digital coax cable and a regular rca cable look the same and can plug into the same connector but they are different and require different source audio. Don't confuse the 2.

I tried to do that and it works fine, but i know how to make the sound shorter.
Meaning how to stop playing after i touch the key. I dont want to play this sound to the end
Thanks,
