MPC1000 most wanted features.

Just two things:

1. Press shift-erase to erase all data on the selected track, even during recording and playback.

2. A loop replace record mode like the MP-7 that punches in with the first pad you play and punches back out at the end of the loop. You can do take after take this way without touching anything but pads.

I would like a screen in the grid edit that would allow me to adjust the volume pan and duration of each note being played ( The way fruity loops does with bars.....not numbers) !!!!

Shift + pad to direct select a track.

Pan assignable to q-link slider.

A wah wah effect!

yo all respect, but don't ask for effects...you have filters and a qlink, that's your wah right there!

.. open window in the mixer screen to see numaric data about the levels on all your mixer channels pans and fx levels like the 2000.......... ya

You would be able to work out and play with how your chops before they are chopped...uknowwatImsayin???

We really need to see if JJ could do this. This is a great idea!!!

i would enjoy to have recordable automations of the effects in grid edit mode
(just like the elektron machine drum) it can be hard to make this fonctionnality...
the automations would be great for filters and it should be easier...

but it'll come with the q link grid edit...

i don't know how hard this would be but the only thing this machine is missing apart from flying me to the moon is the possibility to control sampler parameters like cutoff and resonance from an external machine

it is surprising to see that this feature is not requested more by users

u should be able to save all tracks as seperate wav files onto ur mpc and then go thru the USB view mode and just swap em off onto ur comptuer [/b]

That right there is a good idea.

heres an idea for a cool feature.. say where in either grid edit or step edit in mpc1000 u then select ur part that u want to transpose and then hit window and now ull see a button thatll take u straight to the transpose of the mpc the only difference is that itll remember ur highlighted area.. u like??

one thing that you can think is stupid :
i thought it was a bug but finally it seems no, when you save entire memory with replace same files = NO the allseqsandsongs isn't even replaced, only the .prj file . i lost two beats because of that because i didn't know.
i hope it could be improved

Yeah, you know what, that happened to me too the other day... I forgot about that 1. I expected it to replace all the files I had altered (basically the program files and sequences that I had just changed). But it didn't. It just rewrote the PRJ file so I lost my altered programs and sequences.

Apparently, it assumes you didn't change any of the already exisiting files, and it only saves any NEW files you created. Would definately be nice if it saved any CHANGES and all NEW files.
