I hadn't tried this in NEW OS but I did prefer the AKAI method of holding the last note until you let go of the pad after switching banks. Of course if you've got an external midi controller it won't matter, but otherwise a valid point and worth changing in an update.

Funny, I didn't use mute groups w/the Akai OS as much as I do now, so I never got used to it the old way and actually used to find it confusing since there was no "legend" like the "[blacked out square] = mute" thingy that JJ added. When I saw that, I automatically knew where I was and completely forgot that AKAI did it in reverse. Just comes down to what people are used to I guess.

ah, so you can set the number of slices to a fractional value? that is pretty tight.
