sample preview from smartmedia

sample preview from smartmedia

anybody got oddities while previewing samples from smartmedia ?

i am positive that some of my bassdrum play as if they had a low pass or longuer attack (when played from the load screen).

also in the load screen, i wish i could tap the pad to hear my current program, it would make it easier to choose the next samples for the program. does that make sens ?

looking for your feedback on that one before submitting it.

haven't previewed from SM since i haven't used that for anything other than OS updates for some time now.

this makes sense, but in the FAQ they say it's not possible.

sure compactflash, i always mix up these 2...

anyway, is previewing samples from the hard disk accurate ?
