Coming From A 2kxl Background To A 1000, This Little Box Could Use A Major Boost In That Area...i Am Beginning To Think That The Extra Features Added To The Mpc 1000 As Compared To The 2kxl Are Worthless If The Sequencer Is Not Up To Par...what Do U All Think?

no timing, no sequencing issues here.

I came from an 2000xl and now I use a 1000 and I have not experienced any timing or sequencing issues.

okay...i must say it is a used piece...got got it this week on top of that it's been a couple of years since i've used an mpc b4 since getting the 1000(sold the xl a couple of years ago)....so maybe it's just a matter of getting the feel of things again. so bottom line is that all the akai mpc series machines have the same type of sequencer right? no matter what os it is operating on?

there's not much difference between 100,000 note capacity and an 300,000 note capacity. in the end if YOU make a mistake. then you can always go to the stepedit OR the grid edit... I play with the timing off so...
