i rendered a clip to disk and its an audio file that i chopped and added sum effects to. i rendered to disk and first problem is in live i can only render if i have the clip looping or in the act of playing. if the clip is not playing it renders the audioo in the correct time but its silent. then i finally get a good render and i dump it on the mpc, i see it, i can even preview it. but it tells me its the WRONG FILE. i made sure it rendered at 44.1 and 16 bit. i dont understand. i also need to know how to sync it up in ableton so i can track in it. someone thats proff. in both please help me.

please help, i have a school project due and i'm stuck. i have searched and read on this alot and i still cant figure it out. mpc is telling wrong file and i have rendered from live (also y can live only render in session view while its playing and y cant i drag from session to arrangement to render?) in the proper specs. wut else is live adding to my render that i dont know i ahve already went over it all. i am trying to render in mono to but that shouldnt have anything to do with it. i have already deleted rendered files and tried to render new ones and i get 1 to work and the other 2 do not. i rendered EXACT same for both and i have done this process a few times over. PLEASE HELP i got this project due soon! thanks

Make sure you are rendering it as a wave.

This may not apply as you said you could preview it in the MPC.

Some of the things you said in your post do not ring true.

Be 100% sure that you are doing everything correctly.

Try to render in Stereo and see how that goes. You can always split the sample later.

You need to rephrase this as it is a little confusing. It could mean one of two things.

Also, don't save metadata within the wave when rendering.

i know it sounds weird but i am explaining step by step wut the problem is for me. anyone that knows ableton please help. i have bounced a couple tracks in ableton. and i used the same sampling prefrences for each of three. and when i mean sync up i mean have mpc master my ableton as a slave to multitrack drums so i can add effects and proper mix IN ABLETON. i just need to know wut i could be missing as far as steps. i AM RENDERING IN 16 BIT 44.1 wave. anyone know wut i could be potentially doing specifically in LIVE as far as metadata. i dont know wut that is. thanks

With regards to midi sync, Ableton syncs to MIDI CLock really easily.

All you need to do is set your input in your midi preferences in Ableton. Make the MPC the master and click on the EXT setting in top Left hand corner of Ableton.
