The price of pressing vinyl has skyrocketed in the past 7 years. This has caused a lot of record labels to press lower quality vinyl (cuz the good shit costs too damn much!). Also, the number of vinyl manufacturing plants has been on the decline for a while. All of this adds up to shittier vinyl for the consumer. More than once I have recieved a pressing back from the manufacturer that had more than half of them warped. When we had the time, we sent em back to be re-manufactured, but when deadlines are in effect, sometimes record labels are forced to ship out the warped vinyl to the stores cuz their customers are waiting... Vinyl definately aint what it used to be.

ok , you guys know i'm allways fucing with vinyl thats all i mess with, anyways check it out, here's a tip on fixin warped vinyl, this is a new method to me so you need to understand

!!!!!TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

TAKE AN IRON PUT IT ON LOW HEAT OR ALMOST ON SILK TEMP, THEN TAKE YOUR WARPED RECORD AND STILL IN THE COVER,(I RECOMMEND YOU PUT IT IN THE SLEEVE AS WELLSO NO DUST OR ANYTHING MELT TO IT)PUT THE IRON ON THE COVER AND START TO IRON THE RECORD IN A CIRCULAR MOTION FOR ABOUT 2-4 MIN.(YOU NEED TO DECIDE WHATS GOOD DEPENDING ON HOW WARPED YOUR RECORD IS.)THEN PLACE INBETWEEN GLASS AND PRESS TILL IT COOLS DOWN THEN TRY IT ON TURN TABLE TO SEE IF IT STRAIGHTENED IT OUT IF IT COMES OUR A LITTLE BIT WARPED REPAET TILL IT IS STRAIGHT,

I HAVE DONE THIS WITH THREE OF MY RECORDS AND TWO THE NIGHT OF A GIG AND IT WORKED IT STRAIGHTENED THEM OUT TO NEAR PERFECT.
I ALSO RECOMMEND YOU USE A FULL PICTURE COVER LIKE INSTEAD OF A 12" COVER, GOOD LUCK AND HOPE YOU CAN STRAIGHTEN OUT YOUR RECORDS .

ITEMS USED:
1-IRON ON LOW HEAT
2 PIECE'S OF GLASS TO PLACE THE RECORD INBETWEEN AFTER IRONING.
1 WARPED RECORD WITH A FULL COVER JACKET FOR BETTER IRONING

IF SOMEONE CAN GET A BETTER IDDEA OF HOW TO MAKE THIS IDEA WORK BETTER PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I ONLY TRY THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN THEY WORK AND IF YOU HAVE DONE IT YOURSELF AND I HAVE DONE THIS MYSELF SO I KNOW IT WORKS, THIS IS NO I HEARD THIS DUDE TRY THIS , ACTUAL HANDS ON HERE.

PEACE
