change doesnt play when im trying to slice the sample?I changed the tune of my sample in program mode...then went in to slice it,but then when i pressed the pad of the sample...it had the same sound before i tuned it,so how do i keep that tune setting when chopping?

not sure. whenever i slice a sample it retains its tuning.

It´s very obvious. The pitch change introduced in the program is a pitch change introduced in the program, it has nothing to do with the inherit pitch of the sample.
If the MPC 1000 worked in the way you thought it´d work in it´d be a hell of a lousy machine. Imagine that you apply all sorts of parameters on a sample in program mode: you pitch it to -12, give it a real slow attack, filter it heavily and places a fast and deep LFO modulating the pitch. Now your sample sounds all crazy. If your logic would apply, the sample itself should sound like this if you open it in Edit mode, and that would be utter crap.

The changes to the samples applied in program are only active in program mode. Logical.
To alter the base pitch of the sample, go into Edit mode, highlight the samples name, press window and change the pitch with your data wheel. That setting will apply in program mode as well as when your editing the sample. Logical.

heres another way u can change the pitch after u slice the sample every pad that have a sample on that program will change just press mode from the main screen then hit the slider now when u on that screen use ur q1 or q2 slider to change the pitch in real time or u can do it with out playing back ur drums thats up to u as u press the pad move the slider to here the change
