not to pat myself on the back, but this would revolutionize mpc sample viewing/editing
think about how much easier this would make all timestretching, be it stretching a loop to fit the seq. tempo, or stretching a small chop to fit in w/ the others.

Sounds good and easy to implement, except the mpc screen is rather low res .

but it manages the grid fine, right? if we're worried about it being incoherent, the "Grid" could just be a ruler-esq series of dots up on the top

So for the whishlist it would be: "Display bpm-responding Measure (Timeline / Bar) in Trimmode"... right?
This would be fine. But there might be a problem with realtime calculating processing the measuring Data to the BPM, nahmean? I don't think it's possible on the technically side of things.

Look at FL studio, you take a sample, right click and sya how you want to stretch it, 1 beat, 2 beats, 1 bar, 2 bar etc. that should be able to be aded on the mpc, ill up a pic in a minute to show what i mean
