what we need is only a test(a midi test of 16hihat pattern with swing)

has the same swing settings?
don't talk about air in front of samples... just talk about midi!!!
swing is directly ticks delay of the 2nd and 4th note on a 16hihat sequence....

who can try with an old akai?

the akai is 96 ticks for quarter note... the computer sequencer is 960 ticks for quarter note... that's why akai swing better.. and feel human... cause in eery wway is a lot 1/10 less precise of digital computer sequencing...

I don't know but numbers,

but I definately feel a 52% swing.

it's subtle, but double the BPM and you'll hear it even more.

you really need to start making some beats...

we have made a test to compare swing in 1k and 2k
we export a 16th hi hat midi with a swing of 60%
it's identical

someone here would like to make us happy, and try to send us a midi 16th hi hat part, with a 60% swing, in order to see how 60/3000 works?
the midi is useful in order to analyze event list in a computer sequence
