Newbie: Grid Edit while Running?

Hi there,

I'm thinking about buying a MPC1000. As far as I know you must stop the MPC1000 to edit things. How is it working with the Grid-Mode in the new OS. Can you edit Note-Length, Note-Variation and other things while the sequence is running?

:? So bad ..we should put this on top of the want list as well as audition from disk while playing..I mean when remaining bugs will be fixed..

eh i'd rather have other features over this one. too much processor stuff going on, not enough potential for excellence. it is a good thing to be able to do though.

this is not planned according to their faq because it's too difficult
