Cheapest Place to Buy a 1000?

Besides Ebay & craigslist, were is the hceapest place to buy a 1000? I'm looking to pick one up.

don't sleep on ebay/craigslist, often people are selling what they think are busted 1ks, so you can get em for hundreds less there and fix em up for like 20 bucks.

otherwise get guitar center to pricematch the cheapest you can find online if you're committed to buyin a new one.

but looking back, if i was buying one now instead of then, i'd DEFINITELY ebay it.

of course, 1ks are more rare on ebay these days for some stranje reason

I like new stuff, so I ordered mine there.

i picked mine up at guitar center for $799. a lot of times you can talk them down. i picked up a pair of m-audio bx8a's for $350. they retail for $500. also hit them during their sales, alot of times they ask you what you want to pay for it. if they can do it they will.

they sell online for 450$ to 800
