trouble with mpc + reason

i've recently hooked up my mpc with reason, using the mpc as my master and reason as my sound module, everything works fine (syncing and latency) but the problem i'm finding is when i play my sounds using reason they hang which is bloody annoying.
i'm using quite a good soundcard (m-audio delta 66)
and the specs on my pc are:
athlon xp2000 processor,
512 ram
80 gig hard drive
Any help in solving this problem will be appreciated

I guess when you say "it just hang" you mean the notes you playing
sounds like latency to me.

Reason wasn't desgined to be a External Sound Module to External Sequencer. That midi data has to travel a nice little distance when
you running a setup like yours (and mines).

My question would be first, Does this issue occur when you sequence directly in Reason.

The answer is probably no. If so, you may want to see if that soundcard you got has a ASIO driver update.
